If you sand three or more hours a day, every day, the economics of air tools make them the best choice for high-use applications. Festool air tools last up to five times longer than electrical power tools, are much lighter and easier to use for extended periods, do not heat up in operation and are notably quiet.

Dust extraction is essential for good working results and for operator health and safety. All of our air sanders incorporate dust extraction as a central design feature, and work with a central dust extraction system, as well as with our CT mobile dust extractors.

At the heart of our air tool system is the unique IAS 2 three-in-one hose, which combines air supply, air tool exhaust, and dust extraction in a single conduit. And since there is only one hose attached to the tool, there is less hose drag and less effort required for movement.

Naturally the IAS 2 is antistatic, so dust extraction will not build up a static charge. It connects via an adapter directly into our CT dust extractors, so you can work clean

When I told my family I was going to sand and refinish all the redwood siding on my two-story house they thought I was crazy and that I would soon need a chiropractor, or worse. But the dual sanding modes of my new Rotex RO 150 FEQ 6" Rotex Dual-Mode Sander and a couple of boxes of Cristal 80 grit made the job incredibly fast and easy. A couple of weeks later, working just afternoons and weekends, I had a house that looked better than new and not a single kink in my back.Michael T., Massachusetts
