  • Maintaining air circulation

    To ensure proper air circulation, the vents in the motor housing must always be kept clean and clear.

    Note: Do not clean with compressed air.

  • Cleaning the sanding pad

    Vacuum the sanding pad regularly.

  • Regular cleaning

    Keep all parts of the tool clean, especially the controls and housing openings, and clean them regularly.

Note on pad brake
 

The pad brake grazes the sanding pad, preventing it from spinning too quickly.

If the pad brake  starts to become less effective, first check the sanding pad for wear and replace it if necessary. We recommend also changing the brake pad brake  when you change the sanding pad.


If the pad brake is damaged, please contact Festool customer service.
