Adjusting the length of the PLANEX Drywall Sander

The PLANEX Drywall Sander can be quickly and easily lengthened or shortened as needed.

Up to two extensions can be used for an adjustable working length of 47-¼" - 82-11/16" (1.2 m to 2.1 m).

  • Assembling the PLANEX

    Push the end of the sanding head tube into the handle until a click is heard.

  • Assembling the PLANEX

    Turn the green locking lever until it is fully closed.

    If you are working on high ceilings, you can use up to two extensions. To do so, follow steps 1 and 2.

  • Disassembling the PLANEX

    Open the green locking lever.

  • Disassembling the PLANEX

    Continue turning the green locking lever until it is fully open and hold it in this position. Then pull the two tube ends away from each other.
