Splinter Guard

The splinter guard on the rail and machine ensures splinter-free cuts on both sides when sawing with the track saw. For longitudinal and cross cuts in wood and coated materials, it prevents tearing of the edges and improves the cutting result. The splinter guard also increases the cutting quality when using the circular saw for angular and mitre cuts.

Guide System

Invented and perfected by Festool: the guide rail. For straight and dependable guidance, whether ripping or cross-cutting. To help ensure the perfect cut, the rails may be clamped to the surface. Additional accessories are available for repeated cuts and angle cuts, making the guide system accurate and repeatable.

Send us your blades and get them back SHARP AS NEW! It's just that easy. Protect your investment. Sharp blades not only cut better, but they last longer, too! Depending on your use, your blades can be sharpened up to 10 times. Your blades need to be sharpened if you have any signs of dullness.
