Can the saw blades with 1.8 mm cutting width also be used in conjunction with the HKC 55 and the HK 55?

Yes, all 1.8 mm saw blades are also suitable for the HKC 55 and the HK 55. The only exception is the diamond saw blade for abrasive materials. This saw blade is only suitable for the TSC 55 K and TS 55 F.

Can the saw blades with 1.8 mm cutting width from Festool be resharpened?

Yes, our saw blades can be re-sharpened up to ten times.

Can the saw blades with 1.8 mm cutting width be used on the TS 55 R and TSC 55?

No, because the riving knife of the TS 55 R, as well as the TSC 55, is wider (2.2 mm cutting width) than the cutting width of the new saw blades (1.8 mm cutting width).

Can the saw blades with 2.2 mm cutting width be used on the TSC 55 K?

Only saw blades with 1.8 mm cutting width may be used with the TSC 55 K and TS 55 F.

Can the TS 55 R and TSC 55 riving knife be retrofitted so that the new saw blades (1.8 mm cutting width) can be used?

The TS 55 R and TSC 55 were not designed to use the new saw blades and should not be used with these models.
