Fraudulent websites and online stores that look as if they are from Festool or official Festool partner dealers are popping up all the time. These sites often look professional and lure you in with high discounts.
However, what initially looks like a bargain often leads to losses: no delivery, counterfeit products or resold payment and address data.

How to recognize genuine Festool websites & contact channels
Fraudsters can imitate domains (e.g. slightly different spellings or unused endings) and fake sender emails.
Therefore, always pay attention to several features at the same time:

• Genuine Festool websites:
  
  • Our official websites contain Festool clearly and correctly spelled in the domain, e.g.: Festool.de, Festool.fr, FestoolUSA.com, FestoolCanada.com
  • Every genuine Festool website has a complete imprint with: Company name, address, contact details, responsible person(s)
• Real e-mails from Festool:
  • Official Festool e-mail addresses end with @Festool.com or @Festoolcanada.com
    Example: customerservice@Festoolcanada.com
  • Note: Email senders can also be technically forged. If you are unsure, please use the contact information on our official website.
• Official Festool partner dealers:
  • You can only find our authorized dealers in the Festool dealer search on our real websites.
  • If you store in an online store that claims to be a Festool partner, compare the operator details in the imprint with our dealer search

How can I recognize a fake store?

• Unrealistically high discounts
• Prices that sound too good to be true
• Missing or incomplete legal notice
• Unclear or falsified contact information
• Websites whose address resembles a real domain but is slightly altered (e.g. additional letters, hyphens, other endings)
• Aggressive or unusual advertising on social media
• Often only prepayment or insecure payment methods
