OFFICIAL CAMPAIGN RULES AND REGULATIONS


WHO CAN ENTER: The Festool Canada Inc. (“Festool”) Limited-Edition Giveaway (the “Contest”) is open to all legal residents of Canada who have achieved the age of majority in their province or territory of residence before March 17th, 2025. Employees, directors, officers, representatives and agents of Festool, of any corporation or other legal entity controlled by or related to Festool, of its advertising and promotional agencies, or of suppliers of materials or services related to the Contest, and members of their immediate families and any individuals with whom they are domiciled, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.


CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest starts on March 17th, 2025, at 12:01 am and closes on December 12th, 2025, at 11:59 pm, unless suspended or cancelled earlier as set out herein (the “Contest Period”). All references to time in these Official Contest Rules and Regulations are to Eastern Time. Entries will be accepted until the end of the Contest Period.


HOW TO ENTER: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Only one (1) entry per person. Participants must attend a Festool Experience event.

To enter:
(1) Attend a Festool Experience: 100 Years of Innovation event. 
(2) Scan the QR code on the raffle poster at the event.
(3) Complete the giveaway form and submit the ballot as instructed.

WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: A random draw will be made prior to December 15th, 2025, by a representative of Festool. One (1) entry will be selected as a potential winner. The selected entrant will be notified by December 19th, 2025, by email. The selected entrants will be required to acknowledge by email their receipt of notification of eligibility for the prize. In order to be declared a winner, a selected entrant must first correctly answer (unaided) a time limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone or by email at a mutually agreed time. The selected entrant will also be required to sign and return, within a stipulated period of time, Festool’s form of declaration of compliance with the Official Contest Rules and Regulations, release of liability and publicity release. Festool reserves the right to require proof of age and jurisdiction of residence prior to awarding the prize. Festool will not be responsible for any failed attempts to reach a selected entrant. If a selected entrant has not responded within three (3) business days following the notice, incorrectly answers the skill-testing question, declines the prize, fails to demonstrate eligibility if requested or fails to return the declaration and release, assignment and waiver specified above, another entrant will be selected until the prize is awarded. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.


PRIZES: There is one (1) prize, consisting of:

• Limited-Edition 100th Anniversary DF 500 DOMINO Joiner
• Limited-Edition 100th Anniversary TS 60 K track saw
• Limited-Edition 100th Anniversary FS 1400 guide rail

in the amount of $2,793.00 (Canadian Currency) and the potential opportunity to be featured in Festool’s media campaigns, as determined by Festool. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, without exchange or conversion to cash, and are non-assignable. Festool reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value in the event that the specified prizes are unavailable.

GENERAL: Festool is not responsible for any other costs associated with claiming or using the prizes, or for any loss, theft or misuse of the prizes. The winners are solely responsible for the reporting and payment of all taxes, if any, that may result in claiming the prizes in the Contest.

Decisions of Festool are final on all matters relating to the Contest, including matters of fact, interpretation, eligibility, procedure and fulfillment in respect to the Contest. Festool reserves the right at any time to cancel or modify the Contest or to modify or supplement these rules, without notice, in their sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

By participating in the Contest, winners consent to the use by Festool of their names and hometown for any lawful purpose without further permission or compensation, except where prohibited by law. This would include providing the name of the winners to those who request it and promoting the name of the winners in any marketing vehicles. By entering the Contest, all entrants and the winners agree to abide by and be bound by these Official Contest Rules and Regulations and consent to the use of their personal information to administer, implement and fulfill the Contest.

Festool and its affiliated companies and organizations and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) website, telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, access provider, server, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed entry information or computer transmissions or traffic or congestion on the Internet or at any website; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of Festool that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted; (iv) inaccurate entry information, whether caused by equipment, programming used in the Contest, human processing or otherwise, or any combination thereof; or (v) any injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of the prize, or from participation in the Contest. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of the rules may be disqualified by Festool. Festool takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. Festool is not responsible for any errors or omissions in advertising the Contest.

Festool reserves the right, in its discretion, to suspend or cancel the Contest at any time if a computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or other technical problem of any sort corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest. Festool also reserves the right to disqualify, in their sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Festool account, or who is otherwise in violation of these Official Contest Rules and Regulations. Use of computer programs and/or other automated devices to enter the Contest is prohibited.

By participating in the Contest, each entrant agrees to release and hold Festool, its affiliated companies and organizations, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use or misuse of the prizes, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy.

If the identity of an entrant is disputed, the authorized account holder of the email address appearing on the Contest entry form submitted at the time of entry will be deemed to be the entrant. The individual assigned to the email address for the domain associated with the submitted email address is considered the authorized account holder. A selected entrant may be required to provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the selected entry. All entries must be submitted from a valid email account that may be identified by reverse domain name search. The sole determinant of time for the purposes of receipt of a valid entry in this contest will be the contest server machine(s).

Any issues concerning the validity, interpretation or enforceability of these Official Contest Rules and Regulations, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Festool, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without giving effect to any conflict of law rules which might find otherwise.

PERSONAL INFORMATION: By entering the Contest, you agree that by submitting the personal information required to enter the Contest ("Personal Information") that Festool may collect, use and disclose to its affiliates and service providers for the purposes of administering the Contest.

Please note that for the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union ("GDPR”), (a) the Personal Information provided by you will be stored, processed and used by Festool (for whom Festool GmbH will be processing, storing and using data) for the execution and handling of the Contest, and the legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lt. a) GDPR; and (b) your Personal Information may be passed on to TTS Tooltechnic Systems AG & Co. KG, and. the legal basis for this is Festool’s company interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.

In order to exercise your rights concerning your Personal Information, or if you have any questions, comments or concerns about this consent, you can sending an email to datenschutz@tts-company.com. You can withdraw your consent at any time in accordance with applicable law.

Your Personal Information may be stored or disclosed outside of Canada for the above purposes. While such information is out of the country, it is subject to the laws of the country in which it is held, and may be subject to access by the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of that country, pursuant to the laws of that country. For the purposes of this section, “you” and “your” means the entrant who has entered the Contest.
