Important notes on handling batteries

  • Store the batteries in a cool 41°F to 77°F (5 °C to 25 °C) and dry place (moisture level < 80%).
  • Keep the battery pack away from heat sources (e.g. direct sunshine, fire).
  • Never immerse the battery pack in liquids.
  • Only use the battery pack with your Festool power tool.
  • Keep the battery pack terminals and vents clean.
  • Stow the battery pack so that it does not move around in the case.
  • Keep used battery packs away from metal objects such as nails and screws to avoid shorting.
  • Always handle charged batteries with care.
  • Only use the manufacturer’s recommended charger to charge the battery pack (see operating manual).
  • The battery pack is supplied partially charged. For optimal battery pack performance, charge the battery pack fully before using it for the first time.
  • You can charge the battery pack whenever you want without shortening its service life. Interrupting the charging process will not damage the battery.
