Setting the LED light on the TPC 18

TPC 18/4 & TDC 18/4 Quick Guide - Light Settings via Festool Work App
You can set the LED light according to your needs. The following settings are possible if the TPC 18 is connected to the Work App:

  • Setting the light delay

    If the adjusting wheel is set to any torque position, or in the "Drill" position, then the user can set how long the LED light on the TPC 18 should illuminate after pressing the switch using the Work App. Any time between 2 and 10 seconds can be set.

  • Setting the LED light for constant ‘ON’

    If the adjusting wheel on the TPC 18 is in the "Light on" position, then the user can set how long the LED light remains turned on after screwing or drilling until it automatically goes out using the Work App. Any time between 1 and 15 minutes can be set.

  • Setting the brightness

    Regardless of the position of the adjusting wheel, the brightness of the LED light can be infinitely adjusted between 25 and 100% using the Work App.

Note:

Please note that in any changes to the light settings will become the default setting. Switching off the tool or removing the Bluetooth® battery does not reset the TPC 18 to the factory settings. You must use the Work App to restore the factory settings.
